BAR
We're in the process of getting Michael all registered and what-not for the BAR exam. One of the things they want us to do is list all of the addresses where he has lived for the past 10 years, including dates he was there. Are you kidding me!? I've been very impressed with my journaling skills when it comes to writing down dates while we've been married, but that's not even half of that time. And what about the mission?! Addresses in the middle of nowhere Honduras!? We already have 22 addresses/locations listed. And that counts the mission as 1. Yes, we've spent a lot of summers in random here and there places, but can I tell you how excited I am to finally just live in one place for an extended period of time? Even just staying in the same city would be nice. So if you are one of those friends of ours doing the law school thing, be aware that this is in your future. I'd start prepping now. OK, I'm done complaining. :)

I had no idea!!! I will have to give a heads up to Dan and start working on it now. It will propably take a year to get them all. Last 10 years wow! crazy! thanks for sharing this. Is this for all the BARS or just Idaho's?? Good luck to you. At least he is taking the BAR and your almost done wahoo! Way to go! :)
It's all of the BARs. It's part of the basic background check that they do. They also want any jobs he's had the past 10 years. I'll find out all of the rest of the stuff we need to do this afternoon.
oh what fun oh what joy! I promise you that the bar experience is why they call us law school widows, it gets better for the most part after the bar!! Congrats on being done with school. Come visit us anytime you have a place to stay here.
So, I am Resh's personal secretary and have been doing all of his BAR stuff. If you haven't done the FBI background check, don't pay to have anything rushed. We got it back like in 10 days...that is as long as Michael doesn't have a sketchy past. Knowing Michael....I bet his got quite the record! Miss you guys!
So write things like: Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Address is: "cave." Oh wait -- you probably actually want to PASS the bar. Okay, forget what I said. You also don't want suits knocking on your door.
I know what you mean! David had to do that too when he was applying for a security clearance for his job. He also had to list someone who knew and remembered him from EACH place! Craziness. It took a while but he was able to come up with everything eventually. Hang in there, it'll be over soon!
yeah we did that a few months ago this post just brought up all those feelings of frustration again. We just put his mission address down and said he was there two years...forget trying to find every address. It was a pain to have to remember jobs from 10 years ago as well any parking tickets for the past 10 years...thats just ridiculous...a parking ticket at campus is 30$...you have to list all of those too. We threw in our first born as well just to be on the safe side. good luck. a good resource for addresses was his credit score. it listed all of his past addresses for some time and was really a helpful reminder.
