More Family Pictures

And just because it's hilarious:

Family Picture Preview!

We have been so lucky to have lots of aspiring photographer friends. Over the years we've gotten some awesome family pictures without investing a fortune. Last night we got some more done and I LOVE them! Here are just a few. Once I get all of them I'll show off more.

All dressed up

Our little guy was all dressed up for church today. Too cute. And despite events which I won't mention, I put BYU socks on the little dude.

State Fair

There's nothing like greasy food and crowds of people. We ventured out to the state fair last night and got plenty of both.

Clean Enough

This post got me thinking - what do you do to keep things "clean enough"? Somedays I think I need a big old calendar that I just list all of the cleaning things I have to do that day. I'm not sure it's even possible to keep up with it all when you have so many other things/people demanding time and attention. So help me out - what are the necessary daily things you do to make you feel like your living space is presentable?

Dance Class!!

I have been SO excited for this day to come! Jessica had her first day of dance/tumbling today. I spent the whole morning kind of nervous for the whole experience. I'm not sure why though - Jessica was in HEAVEN the entire time. Total perma-smile. She started off with tumbling. They did a lot of jumping around and shaking and stretching. She was a pro at the floor-level balance beam (makes sense seeing how she's been climbing on things since she was born). Here's some of that fun shaking/warming up: (Sorry about the quality. It was taken through a window).

Right after her tumbling class she has a combo (jazz, tap, ballet) class. We kept going back and forth on what to have her do and Jessica's only answer was, "Let's do both!" This studio caters to just that and has those two classes for her age group back to back. I'm super glad we chose to do both classes. Dance was equally entertaining. They stretched, practiced how to stand, did some moves holding the bar, and as you see here, they practiced walking on tip-toes. So cute.

Jessica LOVES her teacher, Miss Nancy. I think the fact that Miss Nancy gave her a band-aid sealed the deal, seeing how Jessica loves band-aids. (She skinned her knee on the way through the parking lot). The whole ride home all I heard (in a whiny voice) was, "I wish I could go back to dance class. I want to see Miss Nancy again."

I am so excited for this coming year!
